Social Video Promoting Audio Interview

I was looking for a new and creative way to promote the audio from our radio station beyond what were already doing. So I designed this graphic to feature a quote that would generate engagement and pair it with a picture of the person who made the statement. It simple, clean, and effective.

The King’s Home organization asked me to produce a video for them to use for fundraising and informational purposes that captured the expansive property and multiple facilities they operated. This shoot took place at two locations with my DJI Phantom 3 during the fall of 2016.
5 Years Later: Forecasting the Tuscaloosa Tornado

This video was part of a series we created to remember the fifth anniversary of the April 27, 2011 tornado that hit Tuscaloosa and many other parts of Alabama. We spent time with local meteorologist Richard Scott to share his story from that day. He spent hours on the air as the tornado nearly missed the television studio and later found out that his house had been destroyed in the storm.

Working with a group of radio stations in Tuscaloosa provides you with many opportunities to get out in the community and tell the stories that impact all of us. One of those was the April 27, 2011 tornado that ravaged the city. Five years later, I worked on a project for our Townsquare Media stations called ‘Five Years Later’ that focused on different aspects of the storm on the fifth anniversary.

Meg Summers and I sat down with Mayor Walt Maddox in the spring of 2016 to recall how that day went down from his perspective and what the city has done since to successfully rebuild.

My drone traveled to Saint Lucia with my wife and me during our honeymoon in 2016. I took advantage of the beautiful scenery and incredible views by flying around Marigot Bay during our trip. The result was this video of the island, which still doesn’t capture the deep blue and vibrant greens of the mountainous island.
Alabama’s Million Dollar Band Unveils New Practice Field

The University of Alabama Million Dollar Band renovated Butler Field in 2015 and opened it in time for the fall semester. Before the students returned to Tuscaloosa for school, I took my DJI Phantom 3 out to the field to showcase the impressive facility from multiple angles. This video was shared on multiple websites, including AL.com, FOX6, FieldTurf, and others.
Client Testimonial for BNI
Videos
A member of a Tuscaloosa BNI group asked me to shoot and edit her testimonial for the networking group. The video was shot using my DJI Phantom 3 drone and a Canon Rebel T3.

The video was used in a contest and later on the company’s website. This project was completed in fall of 2016.
